A series of loud explosions recently occurred over Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Initial reports suggest these were the result of air defense systems intercepting Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Local residents reported hearing between five and six explosions in various parts of the city over a span of approximately 20 minutes. Eyewitnesses also described bright flashes and the sound of buzzing engines in the sky.
Residents claim that the drones were flying at a low altitude and that air defense systems were actively engaging them.
As of now, there is no official information regarding casualties or damage.
