The farewell ceremony for the renowned Russian actor, screenwriter, and director Tikhon Kotrelev will take place on Sunday, March 29, at the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in the capital. This information was confirmed by his son.
The actor’s son expressed a wish for the farewell to be “festive,” recalling his father as a “person-holiday” who loved large, joyful, and noisy gatherings. He suggested that his father should be sent off in a similarly celebratory manner.
Following the ceremony, Tikhon Kotrelev will be laid to rest at Vagankovo Cemetery.
