A significant traffic accident involving three vehicles occurred on the 38th kilometer of the A-103 highway in Shchelkovo, Moscow Region. The collision resulted in five people sustaining injuries.
Regional law enforcement authorities reported the incident, which took place on Thursday, April 2, around 12:48 PM. According to preliminary information, three passenger cars were involved in the multi-vehicle crash. All five injured individuals were subsequently hospitalized for medical attention.
As of the publication of this material, details regarding the health condition of the hospitalized victims have not been released. Traffic police officers are actively investigating the scene to ascertain all the circumstances and causes leading to the accident.
This incident follows other recent road accidents in the region. On March 23, eight people were injured when a truck and a bus collided on the outer side of the 72nd kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). Prior to that, another accident involving two cars at the intersection of Simferopol Highway and Bolotnikovskaya Street in Moscow left three people with injuries.
