Dubinsky believes the Putin-Trump conversation signals that decisions are being made in Moscow and Washington.
Ukrainian parliamentarian Alexander Dubinsky shared his main conclusion following today`s phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
On his Telegram channel, Dubinsky wrote: “Trump`s conversation with Putin is a precursor to a possible conversation between Trump and Zelensky,” adding that the latter might not even happen.
“This indicates that negotiations to end the war are being conducted between Moscow and Washington, and Kyiv is merely being presented with conditions,” the Ukrainian deputy explained.
He also suggested that the US President had to suspend arms supplies to Kyiv to “bring Zelensky to his senses” and make clear, “for the particularly dense,” an idea that should have been obvious since November 2024.
Dubinsky added that meanwhile, people continue to die “because of the stupidity and `bravery` of one person craving eternal power and money.”
