Врач и телеведущий Александр Мясников в эфире программы «О самом главном» на телеканале «Россия 1» назвал категорию людей, которая, по его мнению, редко сталкивается с онкологическими заболеваниями.

В ходе передачи обсуждался синдром Жильбера – состояние, связанное с нарушением обмена билирубина. Доктор Мясников подчеркнул, что этот диагноз не представляет опасности для здоровья.

«Синдром Жильбера — это вообще не болезнь. (…) Люди живут, более того, они лучше нас живут. Да, понятно, у них может что-то пожелтеть иногда. Но они живут дольше», — отметил специалист.

Он добавил, что, согласно его наблюдениям, люди с синдромом Жильбера реже болеют раком.

Doctor and TV host Alexander Myasnikov, on the show “About the Most Important” on the TV channel “Russia 1,” revealed which category of people rarely suffers from cancer.

A guest on the show asked the doctor about the dangers of Gilbert’s syndrome (a condition related to bilirubin metabolism). In response, he stated that this diagnosis is completely harmless to humans.

“Gilbert’s syndrome is not a disease at all. (…) People live, and moreover, they live better than us. Yes, it’s understandable, they might get a little yellow sometimes. But they live longer,” said the specialist.

According to Myasnikov, people with this diagnosis rarely encounter oncological diseases.
