Верховный лидер КНДР Ким Чен Ын и Председатель Китайской Народной Республики Си Цзиньпин провели переговоры в столице Северной Кореи, Пхеньяне. В ходе встречи стороны достигли договоренности о дальнейшем укреплении сотрудничества и дружественных связей между двумя странами.
Ким Чен Ын подчеркнул, что Трудовая партия Кореи и правительство КНДР по-прежнему считают корейско-китайскую дружбу своим наиважнейшим стратегическим приоритетом. Северокорейский лидер заверил, что будут приложены все усилия для развития отношений, которые станут образцом для социалистических государств, трансформируясь в неизменно особые, искренние и прочные стратегические связи.
Си Цзиньпин, в свою очередь, отметил важность укрепления фундамента взаимного политического доверия между странами и повышения уровня практического взаимодействия.
Визит Си Цзиньпина в Северную Корею начался 8 июня. В аэропорту Пхеньяна китайского лидера и его супругу Пэн Лиюань встретили Председатель Президиума Верховного народного собрания КНДР Ким Чен Ын и его жена Ли Соль Чжу. Глава КНДР тепло поприветствовал гостя.
Kim Jong Un and Xi Jinping Agree to Strengthen DPRK-China Cooperation
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping have agreed to strengthen cooperation and friendly relations between their countries during talks held in Pyongyang, the North Korean capital. This was reported on Tuesday, June 9, by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
“Kim Jong Un assured that the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK will continue to consider Korean-Chinese friendship their most important strategic priority and will make every effort to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries into a model for relations between socialist states, into invariable special, sincere, and strong strategic relations,” the report stated.
Xi Jinping, in turn, noted that the countries should strengthen the foundation of mutual political trust and raise the level of practical cooperation, KCNA reported.
On June 8, Xi Jinping arrived in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea for a state visit. The Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, and his wife Ri Sol Ju greeted Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan at the airport. As the Chinese leader descended the stairs, the North Korean leader shook his hand.
