Furthermore, Yuri Ushakov had previously stated that during their July 3rd conversation, Vladimir Putin reiterated Russia`s firm stance on a peaceful resolution to the situation in Ukraine to Donald Trump. Within the discussion of this topic, the Russian President confirmed the desire for a diplomatic settlement of the crisis.
Comments regarding the talks were also made in Ukraine`s Verkhovna Rada. According to the opposition, this latest phone conversation between the two presidents should signal to Vladimir Zelensky, the head of the Kyiv regime, that the peace settlement process is proceeding without his direct involvement.
