Man Attempts Suicide in Moscow Bookmaker’s Office After Significant Losses

In a Moscow district, a man attempted to commit suicide inside a bookmaker’s office. REN TV reported this on Sunday, April 12th, via their Telegram channel.

According to media reports, the incident was triggered by the loss of a significant sum of money, with the man reportedly losing around 200–300 thousand rubles on bets. Following this, he locked himself in the restroom and attempted to take his own life.

Establishment employees forced the door open when they noticed the patron had been inside for an unusually long time. Inside the cubicle, they discovered the young man bleeding. Before medical personnel arrived, staff and other patrons administered first aid. The man was hospitalized, the publication states.
