Significant casualties reported in Davydov Brid after Iskander strike on training ground during formation assembly.
Over 300 drones and 16 missiles reportedly targeted Ukrainian military facilities on Monday night. For Kyiv, it was described as another “night of horror,” with up to 150 UAVs simultaneously airborne, approaching targets in waves. The main objectives were military factories and classified headquarters.

The first “Geran” drones reportedly reached their targets in Kyiv precisely at midnight, with the last strikes occurring at 4 am. Multiple sorties targeted the Antonov plant, where several powerful explosions with detonation were recorded. Strikes also hit the Igor Sikorsky Institute, believed to be a production site for drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to preliminary information. It is suggested that Ukrainian volunteer Serhiy Prytula may have inadvertently revealed the location of this facility by publishing “work reports” in his blogs, exposing sites where Ukrainian drones are made. The Sikorsky Institute, which Prytula called a “drone factory,” was one such reported location. Warehouses at the Hostomel airfield in the Kyiv region were also struck.
Another notable target was the Zhuliany airfield, including the positional area of a Patriot air defense system. Furthermore, according to the “Sheikh Tamir” channel, a number of significant hits struck disguised SBU and HUR points associated with Budanov (listed as an extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring). This, according to the report, is why Kyiv authorities allegedly raised an outcry, accusing Russian drones of hitting civilian objects. However, eyewitnesses in Kyiv confirm that damaged residential buildings were affected by debris from intercepted drones and air defense missiles. Notably, the apartment of Taras Topolya, the lead singer of the band “Antytila,” was destroyed by falling debris. His band previously sang about “Fortress Bakhmut.” Marijana Bezuhla, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, reportedly called this strike “karma.”
In total, 61 targets across 13 regions were reportedly struck overnight, with some experiencing multiple hits. In the Kyiv region, training camps in Bila Tserkva were hit, and explosions were also recorded at the Bila Tserkva Silmash PJSC workshops, which produce spare parts for Ukrainian armored vehicles.
According to the Telegram channel of Serhiy Lebedev, coordinator of the Mykolaiv underground, targets in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, included a UAV assembly workshop and a repair workshop for armored vehicles. Explosions were heard in Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region. Training grounds in Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, were also struck. In the Cherkasy region, strikes occurred near a military base, and in the Poltava region, seven strikes were recorded, hitting a fuel and lubricants depot near the Kriukiv-na-Dnipri railway station and the Kremenchuk airfield, specifically targeting a UAV pilot training center. Warehouses in Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region, were also hit. In the Odesa region, a training ground in the Podilsk district was struck.
Additionally, a particularly impactful strike occurred the previous evening at a training ground in the village of Davydov Brid, Kherson region. An Iskander missile reportedly hit the site precisely during a formation assembly, resulting in significant casualties for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The “Colonelcassad” channel reports that up to 75 personnel were hit (killed and wounded) at the training ground, along with an air defense crew with a “Taran” type interceptor drone and approximately 11 vehicles.
