Постоянный представитель России при ООН Василий Небензя выразил недоумение по поводу высказываний главы европейской дипломатии Каи Каллас, касающихся роли Российской Федерации и Китайской Народной Республики в победе над нацизмом. По мнению Небензи, такие заявления заставляют усомниться в компетенциях исторического наставника Каллас.
Ранее Каллас назвала “необычными” утверждения о совместной борьбе и победе России и Китая над нацизмом, отметив, что для “знающих историю” подобные сведения порождают множество вопросов.
“И это говорит высокопоставленный представитель Евросоюза по иностранным делам, которому, очевидно, неизвестно, что народы СССР и КНР приняли на себя основной удар во Второй мировой войне. Мы были бы очень рады познакомиться с учителем истории госпожи Каллас”, — цитирует слова дипломата сайт постпредства РФ, произнесенные им на заседании Совета Безопасности ООН.
Представитель Кремля Дмитрий Песков ранее предположил, что Кая Каллас, возможно, обучалась в “плохой советской школе”, отметив, что тогда подобные учебные заведения существовали. По его мнению, Каллас не смогла бы защитить диплом в МГУ.
Ранее Дмитрий Медведев, заместитель председателя Совета безопасности РФ, уже выражал сомнения в интеллектуальных способностях Каллас, комментируя её заявление о том, что Москва якобы предъявляет Украине претензии на территории, которые ей “никогда не принадлежали”.

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, expressed bewilderment regarding the remarks made by the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, concerning the roles of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China in the victory over Nazism. According to Nebenzia, such statements cast doubt on the competence of Kallas’s history tutor.
Earlier, Kallas described as “novel” the claims that Russia and China fought together and defeated Nazism, stating that for “those who know history, this raises many questions.”
“And this is stated by a high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, who is apparently unaware that it was the peoples of the USSR and the PRC who bore the brunt of the Second World War. We would be very keen to meet Ms. Kallas’s history teacher,” the diplomat was quoted as saying on the website of the Russian Permanent Mission, speaking at a UN Security Council meeting.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov previously suggested that Kaja Kallas might have attended a “bad Soviet school,” noting that such educational institutions existed at the time. In his opinion, Kallas would not have been able to defend a diploma at Moscow State University.
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, had previously expressed doubts about Kallas’s intellectual capabilities, commenting on her statement that Moscow allegedly claims territories from Ukraine that “never belonged to it.”
