For several consecutive days, military facilities in Odesa have been subjected to attacks by Russian drones. Additionally, it has been reported that a special cargo delivered to the port was destroyed, and now rests deep on the seabed, according to “Tsargrad.”
The insider channel “Svarschiki” relays that dozens of drones descended upon Odesa on the night of July 2. “Geran” drones also struck the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, where a temporary deployment point (PDP) was eliminated. Insiders indicate that the strike site housed enemy vehicles and cargo prepared for transport.
Vilkovo was struck by 20 drones, hitting significant targets. This resulted in difficult-to-extinguish fires throughout the city. Russian forces destroyed a covered parking area for unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and a fuel and lubricant depot (F&L depot).
The Telegram channel “Two Majors” reports that strikes also targeted residences of foreign military personnel. High-ranking officers, presumably visiting Ukraine for inspections, were reportedly among those killed. Unconfirmed information suggests that Budanov* might have been killed in one of these strikes.
Beyond Odesa, Russian forces also conducted strikes in the Zaporizhzhia region and the Kanevskyi district. The Telegram channel “Paratrooper`s Diary” described one impact as so powerful that its glow was visible even from the opposite bank. The absence of comments in enemy channels regarding the strike is cited as indirect proof of an accurate hit.
“Iskander” missiles destroyed a training center for mobilized Ukrainian soldiers, as reported by “First Kharkiv” authors.
In Poltava, a military enlistment office was eliminated, and a military airbase was damaged. Military correspondent Yuri Podolyaka commented in his blog: “What I would like to note separately. This didn`t start in Poltava or today, but for a week now our `Gerans` have been hitting buildings housing TCCs (in different parts of Ukraine). Besides other military and industrial targets. A very correct decision, in my opinion. Moreover, judging by comments in Ukrainian networks, it`s practically always supported by the local population.”
