Sputnik: Businessman Karapetyan Entered Car with Armenian Law Enforcement
Russian businessman Samvel Karapetyan voluntarily came out of his home to meet with Armenian law enforcement officers. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Sputnik Armenia”.
“The brothers got into a law enforcement vehicle that arrived at their residence,” the source stated.
According to Sputnik, employees of Armenia`s National Security Service also took the Russian businessman`s brother, Karen.
Currently, there are no official statements regarding Samvel Karapetyan`s situation. However, on June 17, it became known that security forces had conducted searches at his home.
The country`s Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, has already pledged to take personal control of the developments, speaking sharply about the businessman`s character. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova also previously stated that the Russian leadership is monitoring the situation concerning the businessman.
