In observance of International Autism Awareness Day, the FIDE Infinite Chess initiative is set to present an online event titled ‘An Atypical Day’ on April 4th. This special session will offer heartfelt personal narratives from families and coaches who work closely with children on the autism spectrum, complemented by insights from expert Gulzhanar Akhaeva. The event aims to foster greater understanding and inclusion, underscoring the significant role chess can play in promoting connection, enhancing development, and encouraging community involvement.
