The two nations have agreed to provide Ukraine with two additional Patriot surface-to-air missile systems, a move confirmed by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius during recent discussions in Washington.
This package of advanced defense technology carries an estimated value of €2 billion. Notably, the financial responsibility for this significant commitment will be entirely borne by Germany. Minister Pistorius indicated that the technical, logistical, and financial aspects necessary for the transfer are currently being finalized.
