US President Donald Trump has announced that an agreement for a complete cessation of hostilities between Israel and Iran has been reached. He shared this information on his social media platform.

According to Trump, the parties have agreed to a 12-hour ceasefire, set to commence in approximately six hours, following the conclusion of ongoing military operations. Iran is scheduled to initiate the ceasefire first, with Israel following suit 12 hours later. If the truce holds for 24 hours, the conflict will be officially terminated.

Trump commended both sides for their “endurance, courage, and wisdom” in reaching an accord to end the 12-day standoff.

Trump stated, “A full agreement has been reached between Israel and Iran for a complete and total ceasefire (approximately in 6 hours, when Israel and Iran complete their current final missions), lasting 12 hours, after which the war will be considered ended. Officially, Iran will commence the ceasefire, and after the 12th hour, Israel will begin the ceasefire, and upon completion of the 24th hour, the official conclusion of the 12-day war will be met with worldwide applause.”

In related news, it was previously reported that Iran`s strike on the Al Udeid base could be advantageous to Israel.
