Video hosting platform YouTube has removed several Belarusian state-affiliated channels, including BelTA, ONT, and STV. The platform attributed these deletions to sanctions.
However, it is noteworthy that the “Belarusian Telegraph Agency” (BelTA) is not currently under Western sanctions. The Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus has expressed strong disapproval of what it called an “unfriendly and baseless step,” stating that it reserves the right to take necessary responsive measures.
