New details have emerged regarding the search for 14-year-old Valeria Bokova, who disappeared after a drone struck a house in Tuapse. The girl has been officially declared deceased, however, her body has yet to be found.
According to volunteers, traces believed to belong to the schoolgirl were discovered near the incident site, and her phone activity was also registered after the attack. The possibility that she survived but became disoriented and wandered into the forest is being considered.
The girl’s mother stated that she was nearby shortly before the explosion and did not see her child leave the house. She believes that after the destruction, Bokova might have had an opportunity to escape on her own.
The search is ongoing 24/7, involving volunteers and equipment. Representatives of the search fund have reported that the operation has not ceased and have appealed for assistance from individuals with experience in navigating difficult terrain, as reported by StarHit.
Despite the fact that the teenager’s body could not be found under the house debris, the police have declared her deceased. However, the family continues their efforts to find their child.
Earlier reports indicated that one of the search dogs managed to pick up the teenager’s scent. However, the search is complicated by inclement weather, which ultimately led the dog to wander in circles.
