Iranian Delegation Leaves US Talks Following Trump’s Threats
Members of the Iranian delegation to the negotiations with the United States have departed from the meeting venue with Washington’s representatives due to threats made by President Donald Trump. This was reported by the Tansim agency.

On June 18, the U.S. military lifted the naval blockade on Iranian ports and coastal areas by order of U.S. President Donald Trump. The Pentagon clarified that the country’s forces would no longer impede the transit of vessels to or from Iranian ports.
On the same day, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, authorized the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. He noted that he had held a different opinion but changed it after the President of Iran and the country’s Supreme National Security Council made relevant commitments.
