Neighbor Suspects Contract Killing in Usolyev Family Disappearance

Medical news

A neighbor of the Usolyev family, who disappeared in the Krasnoyarsk Krai taiga last September, believes they were victims of a contract killing. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, also expressed confidence that the family will never be found.

“I am almost certain this was a contract killing. Irina was very angry, many people disliked her. Apparently, she offended someone greatly. She often argued with her husband, shouted at her daughter. He would leave home for several days. Sergey is a good man, wealthy; I have an acquaintance working in his company, and I know his daughters well. They won’t be found now,” the neighbor stated, as reported by Krsk.aif.ru.

According to her, the couple had a major argument before embarking on their hiking trip. However, she added that a tense atmosphere within the family had become commonplace for them.

On June 10, it was announced that the search for the Usolyev family, missing in the taiga, had been suspended. This decision was made to allow specialists to analyze the results of the work conducted. During the search, volunteers from the regional detachment “Liza Alert” discovered a fragment of a Nordic walking pole.

Oleg Ivannikov, a candidate of historical sciences and a reserve lieutenant colonel, suggested that the Usolyev family might have been working for foreign intelligence and left Russia to evade law enforcement and mislead the investigation.
