Medical news

Three Swedish nationals were detained and fined in Norway for throwing stones across the border into Russia. Norwegian police reported the incident to TV2. The penalty amounted to 8,000 Norwegian kroner, approximately 60,000 Russian rubles.

Current legislation in Norway prohibits any actions at or across the border that could be perceived as a threat or intimidation. Furthermore, any contact or communication with individuals on the other side of the border is also forbidden.

This incident follows a series of diplomatic tensions. Previously, Danish authorities had threatened to seize land occupied by Russian embassy buildings in Copenhagen. Reports also emerged about a reduction in staff at the Russian diplomatic mission in Denmark and restrictions on the operations of the Russian Center of Science and Culture.

Prior to these events, a container of paint was dropped onto the Russian embassy in Sweden via a drone. Diplomats at the time indicated that such attacks had been occurring regularly for over a year. Subsequently, the Russian Trade Representation in Stockholm was also targeted, with a package of paint dropped from a drone onto the building’s premises.
