The “Dolina Scheme” has resulted in over two billion rubles in damages within the past year, with a minimum of 200 families seeking court intervention to reclaim apartments purchased from pensioners. This information was reported on June 8th via the Shot Telegram channel.
The victims include young families and individuals with disabilities. Buyers have organized a photo flashmob to call for an investigation into the “Dolina Scheme,” as legal proceedings are prolonged, leaving people living in rented accommodations.
Overall, the financial losses stemming from the fraudulent activities associated with the “Dolina Scheme” have surpassed 1.5 trillion rubles over three years. However, this figure is likely to rise, as the number of lawsuits saw a sharp increase last year, making it difficult for courts to provide an exact total at this time, according to the publication.
In early May, Dolina announced a song titled “Moment of Truth.” Many fans interpreted the lyrics as an attempt to reflect on the scandal surrounding the singer’s apartment in Khamovniki and to address the criticism she faced due to it.
Back in April, Dolina spoke to journalists about her life following the scandal involving the sale of her Moscow apartment, describing the highly publicized incident as the most difficult and terrifying period of her life.
