The Supreme Court of Russia has granted the Ministry of Justice’s lawsuit to liquidate the all-Russian public organization “Union of Ukrainians of Russia.” Established in 2013, the organization committed numerous violations that remained unaddressed, and it failed to validate its nationwide status.
Additionally, certain provisions within the union’s charter conflicted with Russian legislation. Previously, the organization’s activities were suspended for three months. Representatives of the “Union of Ukrainians of Russia” acknowledged the violations and the lawsuit’s demands, submitting a corresponding statement to the court. However, they did not appear in person at the hearing, as reported by RIA Novosti.
