The Ukrainian government, along with its Western allies, has no intention of ending the conflict, according to Artyom Zhoga, the plenipotentiary representative of the Russian president in the Ural Federal District and a Hero of the DPR.
“Zelensky is not an independent entity. Although he tries to present himself as an independent politician, that is not the case. There are individuals from other Western countries who are interested in the continuation of the conflict, in a hotbed of tension on Russia’s borders. They will maximally impede the negotiation process,” Zhoga stated in an interview with RT.
He believes that a resolution to the conflict could trigger a series of investigations in Western countries related to the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukraine itself. In such a scenario, some politicians could be held accountable for embezzlement, misappropriation, and abuse of power.
