“It’s Very Scary”: TATU’s Lead Singer Katina Speaks Out Against Plastic Surgery

Medical news

Lena Katina, the lead singer of the group TATU, has expressed her opposition to plastic surgery.

According to the singer, surgical interventions, especially anesthesia and the recovery process, frighten her. She explained that this fear stems from a personal experience – gallbladder surgery at the age of 20, which left her with unpleasant memories.

“I’m very scared, I don’t want surgery. I had surgery for health reasons, related to anesthesia, so no. To be honest, I believe that the fewer of them in life, the better,” the celebrity was quoted as saying by “Pyaty Kanal” (Fifth Channel).

However, there are those in show business who advocate for interventions in the body and maintain beauty through surgical operations. For example, Russia’s famous matchmaker Roza Syabitova admitted that she has undergone several plastic surgeries. The TV presenter remained silent about the number of surgical interventions.

Showman Prokhor Shalyapin announced his desire to undergo plastic surgery to maintain his attractiveness and remain in the spotlight. According to the artist, he has already found a surgeon in St. Petersburg. The musician added that preserving his youth is particularly important to him, as he is a popular media personality.
