Four People Die from Suspected Drug Overdose in Northeast Moscow

The bodies of four individuals were discovered in the northeastern part of the capital city. The men are suspected to have died from a drug overdose. This information was reported on Monday, May 18th.

“A mass drug poisoning occurred on Sunday in northeast Moscow. Four people died,” the report stated.

The bodies of two men, one from Belarus and another from Moscow, were found in separate rooms of a hostel on Gostinichny Proyezd. Later, law enforcement officials discovered two more deceased individuals. Their bodies were located not far from the temporary lodging. Law enforcement authorities had not officially commented on the incident at the time of publication.

Previously, two schoolgirls suffered drug overdoses in the center of Moscow. The girls were found unconscious in the lobby of a hotel on Presnenskaya Embankment. They were transported to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed them with acute poisoning by psychotropic substances. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
