Man in Moscow Region Sentenced for Knife Attack on Hotel Porch

A man identified by the surname Lysenko has been sentenced to 3.5 years in a penal colony by the Lobnya City Court for a knife attack on a man at the entrance of a hotel. The victim sustained grievous bodily harm. This was reported on Wednesday, May 6th, by the press service of the general jurisdiction courts of the Moscow Region.

“The court found Lysenko V.A. guilty and imposed a sentence of three years and six months of imprisonment, to be served in a general regime penal colony,” the court’s Telegram channel stated.

The perpetrator, while intoxicated, had an argument with another man near the hotel. Driven by personal animosity, he decided to stab the victim, striking him twice in the chest and shoulder. The victim survived, and the suspect was apprehended.
