Подросток в Тыве получил тяжелые ожоги из-за курения в кладовке с бензином

In the Mongun-Taiga district of the Republic of Tuva, a 15-year-old teenager sustained burns to 75 percent of his body after entering a storeroom containing gasoline to smoke. This incident was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs on Thursday, May 14.

According to the department, the boy lit a match to light his cigarette, which immediately caused the gasoline to ignite.

“Suffering severe burns, the boy ran outside and cried loudly, trying to wake his sleeping grandparents in the house. Upon waking, the adults managed to escape the burning structure. As a result of the fire, the house was completely destroyed,” the report states.

The teenager was hospitalized with burns covering 75 percent of his body, and his condition is currently assessed as severe, as reported on the MIA’s Telegram channel.
