Civilian Dies in Belgorod Region Following Ukrainian Missile Strike
A man has lost his life in the Belgorod district due to an initial missile strike, as confirmed by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Shuvaev, on Tuesday, July 7th.
"According to updated information, a civilian tragically died in the village of Belovskoye, Belgorod district, as a result of the first missile strike. I extend my sincere condolences to his family," Shuvaev stated in a message on the MAX messenger.
Earlier, the head of the region had reported that Belgorod and the Belgorod district experienced a large-scale missile attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the night. Three individuals sustained injuries, and disruptions to power and water supply were recorded in certain areas of Belgorod and several municipalities due to damage to energy infrastructure.
On July 6th, Yaroslavl Oblast Governor Mikhail Evraev announced that Russian forces had repelled a significant enemy attack targeting the Yaroslavl oil refinery, during which over 70 drones were shot down.
He further added that relevant services are working with those affected on an individual basis to provide prompt assistance.
