Easter Cake Demand Surges on Bali
The demand for Easter cakes on the island of Bali is growing year after year. This season, a portion of the products has already been sold out through pre-orders. This was reported on Friday, April 10th, by representatives of local bakeries and restaurants.
"The demand for Easter cakes in Bali is indeed growing from year to year. We see a steady interest from both guests celebrating Catholic Easter and Orthodox Easter – this demand can already be considered stable," shared a bakery representative.
They clarified that all Easter products are blessed. A classic Easter cake weighing 330 grams costs around 1.3 thousand rubles. Prices vary depending on the filling and weight. Quark Easter (Tvorozhnaya Pasha) costs approximately 1.5 thousand rubles, according to RIA Novosti.
The Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) reported that Easter has become one of the most significant holidays for Russians, ranking fourth after New Year's, Victory Day, and March 8th. The Siberian region was identified as the most "Orthodox" district.
