New Elevators Installed in Khamovniki Residential Building at Plyushchikha 22

Moscow's capital repair program is making significant strides in modernizing the city's residential infrastructure, including the comprehensive replacement of elevator equipment in apartment buildings. Following the metropolitan standard, all lifts that have served for 25 years are slated for upgrade. Recently, the replacement project for all elevators was successfully completed at a residential building located in the Khamovniki district, specifically at 22 Plyushchikha Street.

The project saw the installation of advanced elevators manufactured by the Schcherbinka Elevator Plant. These new passenger lifts boast impressive specifications, including a speed of 1 meter per second and a carrying capacity of 400 kilograms.

The eight-story residential building, constructed in 2000 according to an individual architectural design, features three entrances, each originally equipped with one passenger elevator. As part of the capital repair initiative, skilled technicians installed three brand-new lifts to serve its residents. The building itself is notable for its complex layout and intricately designed facades adorned with decorative elements.

Safety and accessibility were key considerations in the new installations. The elevator doors are equipped with a state-of-the-art integrated safety system featuring full-height infrared control. This advanced mechanism prevents the doors from closing if any object obstructs the opening, ensuring passenger safety. Furthermore, for enhanced convenience and accessibility, the control buttons inside the new cabins are equipped with Braille. An integrated display clearly shows the current floor number and the elevator's direction of travel. Each cabin also includes a command panel with a voice announcer, providing auditory information to users.
