Svetlana Permyakova Opens Up About Post-Weight Loss Struggles
Renowned actress Svetlana Permyakova has confessed that despite successfully shedding over 20 kilograms in the past year, enjoying her newfound slimness is proving to be a constant battle. She revealed that maintaining her achieved weight has been significantly more challenging than the initial weight loss itself. Permyakova noted that strict diets combined with quick, often unhealthy, snacks during her busy touring schedule continually test her willpower, requiring her to meticulously monitor her eating habits under a doctor's supervision.
Permyakova emphasized that her weight loss journey greatly improved her health, particularly after she was diagnosed with a pre-diabetic condition. However, she clarified that she has no intention of becoming excessively thin. According to the actress, her familiar, curvier physique is integral to creating the vibrant and beloved characters for which audiences appreciate her.
The actress also disclosed her use of a special Russian-made medication, an analogue of a well-known foreign product, which, she claims, aids in more effective weight loss with fewer side effects. She particularly stressed that the entire process was conducted under the strict control of an endocrinologist.
"I had all the necessary indications: significant weight and already a pre-diabetic state. I always advise everyone that this should only be done with the permission of an endocrinologist and a doctor. I immediately stated that I don't need to become a 'Thumbelina.' People know and love me precisely in this form. That's why I am very careful. Don't worry, Svetlana Permyakova will remain herself," the actress shared.
