Two Men Stole an Electric Guitar from a Moscow Bar

Two patrons of a bar located on Pokrovsky Boulevard, an 18-year-old resident of the Moscow region and an 18-year-old Muscovite, have been apprehended for stealing an electric guitar valued at 80,000 rubles from the establishment. The incident was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow on Monday, May 25th.

“The suspects, while present as customers in the bar on Pokrovsky Boulevard, noticed an electric guitar left at one of the tables. They then discreetly took it without attracting attention and fled. Upon exiting the establishment, one of the perpetrators concealed the musical instrument under his outerwear,” stated the department’s website.

Following a report filed by a woman, the suspects were apprehended by the police. The electric guitar was confiscated from them and subsequently returned to its owner. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the young men. They have been released on their own recognizance, pending their departure. The accused face potential imprisonment of up to five years.
