Russian Air Defense Intercepts 67 Ukrainian Drones Over Russian Regions in Two Hours

Between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, Russia’s air defense forces successfully neutralized 67 Ukrainian drones in the airspace over various Russian regions. This information was reported by the press service of the country’s Ministry of Defense on Saturday, May 16th.

Additionally, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, domestic air defense units shot down 89 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. Ministry officials specified that Russian forces destroyed these enemy aircraft over the Belgorod, Ryazan, Kaluga, Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Vladimir, Smolensk, and Tula regions, as well as the Moscow region and the Black Sea. This was reported via the ministry’s Telegram channel.

During the night of May 6th to 7th, Ukrainian forces attacked the Rostov region with drones. Domestic air defense units at that time downed approximately three dozen enemy drones in Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Kamensky, Belokalitvinsky, Milyutinsky, Chertkovsky, and other districts.
