Fire was observed on the roof of the building next to the Miller Mansion on Yakubovich Street, as reported by a RIA Novosti correspondent.
The city's Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a fire broke out on Thursday evening at 3 Isaacs Square. The building houses the historic Miller Mansion, constructed in the latter half of the 18th century. The fire spans an area of 2,000 square meters.
