Power engineers restoring networks after storms in three Primorye districts
Power engineers are working to fix network issues in populated areas across three districts of Primorye, according to the Far Eastern Distribution Grid Company.
Primorye is experiencing a storm warning for October 5-6, with predictions of heavy to very heavy rainfall, potential river level rises, and flooding. The Khasansky municipal district in southern Primorye is forecast to receive the highest precipitation, possibly reaching one to one and a half times the monthly norm on Monday.
This morning, October 5, the Khasansky district experienced a second disconnection of a 110 kV power transmission line, affecting some consumers. Crews are currently restoring power supply. Localized power outages are also being recorded. Teams are working to restore electricity in the village of Lukyanovka in the Shkotovsky district.
Damage has been identified on the line supplying power to the village of Razdolnoye in the Nadezhdinsky district. Electricity is expected to be restored there shortly.
The "Primorskie Electric Networks" branch has been operating under a heightened state of readiness since Monday morning due to the adverse weather conditions.
The administration of the Khasansky district specified that the power outage zone in their municipality includes the villages of Ryazanovka, Andreevka, Risovaya Pad, Vityaz, Zarubino, Kraskino, Posyet, Gvozdevo, Tsukanovo, and Khasan.
