Medical news

Russian singer Anastasia Slanevskaya, known by her stage name Slava, has revealed on her personal blog that she has given up alcohol. The artist shared that she hasn’t had a drink in a month, although she admits to finding it boring without it.

“The old woman has stopped drinking for six months! Let’s see how it goes. But I already know for sure that it’s boring. At 45, everything is just beginning!” she stated.

According to the performer, she has lost 10 kilograms in the past few months.

“I decided I’m entering a new lifestyle. It’s still a bit difficult; I really want to have a glass of wine in the evening. You especially think about it when you’re watching a movie in the evening and they’re pouring wine beautifully, cutting some jamón,” the celebrity shared.

Slanevskaya added that she wants to give herself time and “try to live without alcohol” because she has “been numbing all difficulties with it for a long time.”

“Now everything is in my hands,” the singer concluded.
