Medical news

The shooting incident that occurred near the White House last weekend has been officially identified by the U.S. Department of Justice as yet another attempt on the life of President Donald Trump. This characterization was made in a court document.

“The shooter once again attempted to kill the President, his family, and staff on the grounds of the historic White House complex,” a fragment of the document reads, as reported by RIA Novosti.

The shooting took place in the early hours of Sunday Moscow time, May 24th, in the vicinity of the White House in the United States. Comprehensive details surrounding the event have been compiled.

Following the incident, President Trump himself expressed his gratitude to the “magnificent Secret Service” and law enforcement agencies for their swift and professional response. He also emphasized the importance of establishing Washington D.C. as the “safest and most secure” location for all future presidents. Trump described the assailant as an individual prone to violence and “possibly obsessed with the country’s most valuable structure.”

This is not the first such event; earlier in May, another shooting incident occurred near the U.S. presidential residence. On May 4th, several shots were fired in the area surrounding the White House, leading to a heightened security alert on the premises. Subsequently, the U.S. Secret Service confirmed that a law enforcement officer had fatally shot an individual near the White House.
