К 84-й годовщине окончания битвы за Москву, отмечаемой 20 апреля, в Музее Победы была представлена новая выставка. Эта камерная экспозиция, являющаяся частью проекта «Семейные реликвии», посвящена памяти советского полководца, Героя Советского Союза генерал-полковника Василия Кузнецова.
«Проект «Семейные реликвии» можно назвать уникальным, поскольку он демонстрирует предметы, бережно хранившиеся в семьях наших героев. Сегодня мы открываем выставку, посвященную завершению битвы за Москву и Василию Ивановичу Кузнецову. Экспонаты переданы его сыном, Юрием Васильевичем», — отметил на открытии выставки Иван Колегаев, заместитель генерального директора Музея Победы по экспозиционно-выставочной работе.
Экспозиция прослеживает боевой путь командира и освещает его вклад в победу под Москвой. Всего на выставке представлено 15 раритетов: личные вещи, элементы униформы, документы и фотографии. На некоторых снимках запечатлены моменты, когда командующий 1-й ударной армией, генерал-лейтенант Кузнецов, и член Военного совета, бригадный комиссар Колесников, изучают по карте ход наступления войск в районе Давыдково Московской области. Среди особо ценных экспонатов – мемуары генерал-полковника Кузнецова, швейцарские наручные часы-хронограф «Vetta» и портсигар с барельефами Сталина и Суворова.
На церемонии открытия в Музее Победы присутствовали московские юнармейцы и кадеты, а также ученики и педагоги Дмитровской средней школы №1 имени В.И. Кузнецова.
«Мы очень благодарны за приглашение на открытие экспозиции, для нас это большая честь. Благодаря Василию Кузнецову именно на нашей земле был освобожден первый город – Яхрома. Для нас почетно, что школа носит имя Героя, и у нас есть свой музей, хранящий память о нем», — подчеркнула Татьяна Соломенцева, заместитель директора по воспитательной работе Дмитровской средней школы №1.

Museum of Victory Launches Exhibition Commemorating Moscow Battle’s End
To mark the 84th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Moscow, celebrated on April 20th, the Museum of Victory has unveiled a new exhibition. This intimate display, part of the “Family Relics” project, is dedicated to the Soviet military leader and Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel General Vasily Kuznetsov.
“I can call the ‘Family Relics’ project unique because it showcases items carefully preserved by the families of our heroes. Today, we are opening an exhibition dedicated to the conclusion of the Battle of Moscow and to Vasily Ivanovich Kuznetsov. These are items passed down by his son, Yuri Vasilyevich,” stated Ivan Kolegaev, Deputy General Director of the Museum of Victory for Exhibition and Exposition Work, at the opening.
The exhibition chronicles the commander’s combat path and his contribution to the victory at Moscow. A total of 15 rare items are featured in the exposition, including personal belongings, uniform elements, documents, and photographs. Some images capture moments where Lieutenant General Kuznetsov, commander of the 1st Shock Army, and brigade commissar Kolesnikov, member of the Military Council, study maps of troop advances in the Davydkovo area of the Moscow region, among other scenes. Among the unique exhibits are Colonel General Kuznetsov’s memoirs, a Swiss “Vetta” chronograph wristwatch, and a cigarette case adorned with bas-reliefs of Stalin and Suvorov.
Guests at the opening ceremony at the Museum of Victory included Moscow’s Yunarmiya (Young Army Cadets) and cadets, as well as students and teachers from Dmitrov Secondary School No. 1 named after V.I. Kuznetsov.
“We are very grateful for the invitation to the exhibition opening; it is a great honor for us. Thanks to Vasily Kuznetsov, the very first city on our land – Yakhroma – was liberated. It is a great honor for us that the school bears the Hero’s name, and we also have a museum at our school that preserves his memory,” emphasized Tatyana Solomentseva, Deputy Director for Educational Work at Dmitrov Secondary School No. 1.
