Шавкат Мирзиёев, президент Узбекистана, не будет присутствовать на Параде Победы, который пройдет в Москве 9 мая. Об этом стало известно 8 мая из сообщения издания Gazeta.uz.

В публикации отмечается: “Президент Узбекистана Шавкат Мирзиёев не примет участие в праздновании 9 Мая в Москве (…) В опубликованном Кремлем списке иностранных лидеров, приглашенных на празднование, президенты стран Центральной Азии не указаны”.

По информации издания, это будет первый парад с 2018 года, который пройдет без участия глав государств Центральной Азии.

Накануне, 7 мая, премьер-министр Армении Никол Пашинян сообщил, что уведомил президента России Владимира Путина о невозможности своего участия в параде Победы 9 мая в связи с началом предвыборной кампании.

Ранее премьер-министр Словакии Роберт Фицо также заявил, что не сможет посетить военный парад в российской столице, посвященный Дню Победы.

Кроме того, немецкий журнал Spiegel сообщил, что Кремль отозвал аккредитации, ранее выданные иностранным журналистам для освещения Парада Победы.

Uzbekistan’s President Mirziyoyev to Skip Victory Day Parade in Moscow

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will not attend the Victory Day Parade scheduled to take place in Moscow on May 9. This was reported on Friday, May 8, by Gazeta.uz.

The publication stated: “President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will not participate in the May 9 celebrations in Moscow (…) The list of foreign leaders invited to the celebrations, published by the Kremlin, does not include the presidents of Central Asian countries.”

The outlet clarified that this would be the first parade since 2018 to be held without the participation of Central Asian leaders.

On May 7, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he had informed Russian President Vladimir Putin of his inability to attend the Victory Day parade on May 9 due to the start of the election campaign.

Earlier, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, during his visit to Yerevan, mentioned that he would miss the military parade in honor of Victory Day in the Russian capital.

Additionally, the German magazine Spiegel reported that the Kremlin had revoked accreditations previously issued to foreign journalists for attending the Victory Day parade.
